కార్తీక్ తన స్నేహితుడు పాండు వివాహానికి వెళ్ళి అక్కడ శృతి అన్నే అమ్మయిని చూసి తొలిచూపులోనే ప్రేమలోపడతాడు.పాండు భార్య సహాయంతో శృతి ఫోన్ నెంబర్ తీసుకుంటాడు కార్తీక్,అది తప్పు నెంబర్ అని తెలియని కార్తీక్ అదే నెంబర్ లో ఉన్న శ్రావణిని ఫోన్ ద్వారానే ప్రేమిస్తాడు.ఇదిలా ఉండగా కార్తీక్ కి ఒక రోజు అది తప్పు నెంబర్ అని,తాను ఫోన్ ద్వారా ప్రేమించింది వేరొక అమ్మాయి అని తెలిసి శ్రావణికి చెప్పకుండానే దూరమవుతాడు.పట్టువిడవని శ్రావణి కార్తీక్ ని దక్కించుకోవాలనే ప్రయత్నంలో కార్తీక్ ని ఎలాంటి ఇబ్బందులకు గురిచేస్తుంది.చివరకు కార్తీక్,శ్రావణిల ప్రేమకథ ఎలా సుఖాంతమవుతుంది అనేదే కథాంశం.

Karthik falls in love with a girl he sees at a wedding, gets her number and begins to talk to her, only to realise later that he has been talking to the wrong girl. She decides to get back at him.
