బాలు (రాజేంద్ర ప్రసాద్) హైదరాబాద్ వచ్చి తన మేనమామ చంద్ర (సుమన్) ఇంట్లో ఉంటూ,తన లక్ష్యం గాయకుడు అవ్వాలనుకుంటాడు..చంద్రకు ఇద్దరు భార్యలు(సీతా మరియు సరళ) వీరిలో ఒకరంటే ఒకరికి పడదు..దాంతో వాళ్ళను వేరు వేరుగా ఉంచి తన సమయాన్ని ఇద్దరికీ సమానంగా విభాజించుకుని కాపురం చెస్తుంటాడు..అయితే బాలును,తన ఇంట్లోకి సేవకుడిగా తీసుకొస్తాడు..ఆ తర్వాత బాలు,అత్తలకు ఎలాంటి సేవలు చేసాడు,మరదల్లను ఎలా లైన్లో పెట్టాడు..మామ సమస్యలను ఎలా పరిష్కరించాడు..అనేదే ఈ చిత్ర కథాంశం.
