ரங்கன் (எம்.ஜி.ஆர்),தன் தங்கைக்காக வாழ்கிறார்,தன் தங்கையை ஒரு பணக்கார டாக்டர் முத்துராமனுக்கு திருமணம் செய்து கொடுக்கிறார்,பின்தான் தெரிகிறது தன் தந்தையை கொலைசெய்தவரின் மகள் என்று,வீட்டை விட்டு வெளியேறுகிறார்கள்,தங்கை வந்த அதே நேரத்தில் ஒரு அடிதடிக்காக எம்.ஜி.ஆர்.சிறை செல்கிறார்,அங்கு தன் தந்தையை சந்திக்கிறார்.தன் தந்தை குற்றமற்றவர் என்று நிரூபிக்க போராடுகிறார்.
