சிவன்(மோகன்லால்) மதுரையின் அசைக்கமுடியாத தாதா,ஏதிர்க்கவேண்டும் என்ற நினைப்பு ஒருவனுக்கு வந்தாலே அவனை அழித்துவிடும் சிவன்,அவரது வளர்ப்பு மகன் விஜய்,தன அப்பாவை கண்ணெதிரிலேயே போலீஸ் சுட்டுக் கொன்றதைப் பார்த்த பிறகு,காக்கிச் சட்டை என்றாலே வெறுப்பு,பின் சிவனின் வற்புறுத்தலினால் போலீஸாகி,பின் சிவனுடன் கருத்துவேறுபட்டால் சண்டை வந்து,நடுவில் சில வில்லன்களால் பிரச்சினைகள் வருகிறது.

Sivan, a Madurai-based gangster, adopts Shakthi, his slain driver's son. Shakthi, who witnesses his father being killed by a police officer, decides to avenge his father's death with Sivan's support.
