சாரதி ராமன்(கருணாஸ்) தன் மனைவி வசந்தியை(கார்த்திகை) விட கருப்பாக இருக்கும் காரணத்தினினால் தன்னைதானே கீழ்த்தரமாக நினைத்துக்கொள்கிறார்.மேலும் வசந்தி வேறொருவருடன் ஓடிவிடுவாளென பயந்து அவளை எப்போதும் சந்தேகப்படுகிறார்.இதனால் குடும்பத்தில் பல பிரச்சனைகள் உண்டாகிறது.
