ఇంద్రసేన, రుద్రసేన ఇద్దరూ ఒకేలా ఉండే అన్నదమ్ములు. వారిలో పెద్దవాడైన ఇంద్రసేన ప్రేమ విఫలమై తాగుడుకు బానిసై బాధపడుతుంటాడు. అతని తమ్ముడు రుద్రసేన మాత్రం మంచి ఉద్యోగం చేస్తూ పెళ్లి చేసుకోవడానికి సిద్దమవుతుంటాడు.అలాంటి తరుణంలోనే అనుకోకుండా ఇంద్రసేన ఒక హత్య కేసులో జైలుకు వెళతాడు. దాంతో అతని కుటుంబం మొత్తం చెల్లాచెదురైపోతుంది. అలా చేయని తప్పులకు కష్టాలపాలైన ఇంద్రసేన, రుద్రసేనలు ఎలా తయారయ్యారు, చివరికి వాళ్ళ జీవితాలు ఏమయ్యాయి అనేదే కథాంశం.
