കേരളത്തിലേ സാമൂഹ്യ രാഷ്ട്രീയ സാഹചര്യങ്ങളെ രസകരമായ രീതിയില്‍ അവതരിപ്പിച്ചിരി ക്കുകയാണ് ചിത്രത്തില്‍. സി പി  സ്വതന്ത്രന്‍ നിഷ്കളങ്കനും സത്യസന്ധനുമാണ്. അക്കാരണത്താല്‍ തന്നെ അയാള്‍ നാട്ടില്‍ പ്രശസ്തനുമാണ്. എന്നാല്‍ നാട്ടിലെ റെയില്‍വേ സ്റ്റേഷനില്‍ അച്ഛന്റെ പ്രതിമ സ്ഥാപിക്കാന്‍ സ്വതന്ത്രന്‍ ഒരുങ്ങുന്നതോടെ സ്ഥിതിഗതികള്‍ മാറുന്നു.
