എയ്ഡ്സ് ബാധിതനായതിനാല്‍ തന്‍റെ ഭര്‍ത്താവ് ആത്മഹത്യ ചെയ്തു എന്നുള്ള വാര്‍ത്ത സീതയെ തളര്‍ത്തുന്നുതുടര്‍ന്ന് നാട്ടുകാര്‍ അവരെ താമസസ്ഥലത്ത് നിന്നും അകറ്റുന്നുമാതാപിതാക്കളില്‍ നിന്നുപോലും അവര്‍ക്ക് എതിര്‍പ്പ് നേരിടേണ്ടി വരുന്നുവെങ്കിലും അബു എന്ന കടത്തുകാരന്‍ അവര്‍ക്ക് അഭയം നല്‍കുന്നു.
