ಈ ಕಥೆ ಲಂಡನ್ ನಲ್ಲಿ ಇರುವ ಸುಭಾಷ್ ಚಂದ್ರ ಗಾಂಧಿ ಹೆಸರಿನ ಉದ್ಯಮಿಯಿಂದ ಶುರುವಾಗುತ್ತದೆ.ಆತ ಏನೇ ಕೆಲಸ ಮಾಡಿದ್ರು ತನ್ನ ತಾಯ್ನಾಡಿಗೆ ಒಳಿತಾಗಲಿ ಎಂದು ಮಾಡುತ್ತಿದ್ದ.ಈ ಮಧ್ಯೆ ಲಂಡನ್ ಗೆ ಬಂದು ಸಂಕಟಕ್ಕೆ ಸಿಲುಕಿದ ನೃತ್ಯ ತಂಡಕ್ಕೆ ಆತ ಸಹಾಯ ಮಾಡುತ್ತಾನೆ.ಈ ಕಾರ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಸಾಂಪ್ರದಾಯಿಕವಾಗಿ ಕಂಡ ಇಂದಿರಾ (ನಯನತಾರಾ) ಮೇಲೆ ಮೊದಲ ನೋಟದಲ್ಲೇ ಪ್ರೀತಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಬೀಳುತ್ತಾನೆ.ಆದ್ರೆ ಈ ಜೋಡಿ ನಡುವಿನ ಹಗ್ಗ ಜಗ್ಗಾಟ ಇಡೀ ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರದ ರಾಜಕೀಯ ವ್ಯವಸ್ಥೆಯನ್ನು ಸರಿಪಡಿಸುತ್ತಾನೆ.
