ಚಿತ್ರದಲ್ಲಿ ನಾಯಕ ರಮೇಶ್ ಅರವಿಂದ್ ಗೆ ಟಿವಿ ಷೋನಲ್ಲಿ ನೋಡಿದ ನಾಯಕಿ ಸುಮನ್ ನಾಗರ್ಕರ್ ಮೇಲೆ ಪ್ರೀತಿಯಾಗುತ್ತದೆ.ಆಕೆಯನ್ನು ಹುಡುಕಿ ನಾಯಕ ಅಸ್ಸಾಂಗೆ ಹೋಗುತ್ತಾನೆ.ಆದರೆ ಆಕೆ ವಿಧವೆಯಾಗಿದ್ದು ಒಂದು ಮಗುವಿರುತ್ತದೆ.ಆದರೂ ಇಬ್ಬರ ನಡುವೆ ಪ್ರೀತಿ ಚಿಗುರತ್ತೆ.ಆದರೆ ಆ ನಗರದಲ್ಲಿ ಉಗ್ರಗಾಮಿಗಳ ಚಟುವಟಿಕೆಯಿಂದಾಗಿ ನಾಯಕ ನಾಯಕಿ ಇಕ್ಕಟ್ಟಿಗೆ ಸಿಲುಕುತ್ತಾರೆ.ಕೊನೆಗೆ ಹೇಗೆ ಬದುಕುಳಿಯುತ್ತಾರೆ ಎಂಬುದು ಈ ಚಿತ್ರದ ಕಥೆ.
