ಶಶಿ ಕುಮಾರ್ ನಟನೆಯ ಬಾರೆ ನನ್ನ ಮುದ್ದಿನ ರಾಣಿ ಚಿತ್ರವು ಪ್ರೀತಿ ಪ್ರೇಮದ ಕುರಿತ ಚಿತ್ರವಾಗಿದೆ.ಈ ಚಿತ್ರದಲ್ಲಿ ನಾಯಕ ಶಶಿ ಕುಮಾರ್ ಗೆ ಮದುವೆಯಾಗಬೇಕು ಎಂಬ ಬಯಕೆ ಉಂಟಾಗಿರುತ್ತದೆ.ಕೊನೆಗೂ ಮಹಿಳಾವಾದಿ ನಾಯಕಿ ಮಹಾಲಕ್ಷ್ಮಿಯನ್ನು ಮದುವೆಯಾಗುತ್ತಾನೆ.ಆದರೆ ಮದುವೆಯ ನಂತರ ಇಬ್ಬರಿಗೂ ಜಗಳವಾಗಿ ದೂರಾಗುತ್ತಾರೆ.ನಂತರ ಮುನಿಸಿಕೊಂಡು ತವರಿಗೆ ಹೋದ ಹೆಂಡತಿಯನ್ನು ನಾಯಕ ಮತ್ತೆ ತನ್ನ ಮನೆಗೆ ಕರೆದುಕೊಂಡು ಬರುವುದು ಈ ಚಿತ್ರದ ಕಥೆಯಾಗಿದೆ.

Though a young man marries the woman of his choice, and he is happy for a while, he soon starts facing marital issues. He realises the true meaning of marriage only after his wife leaves him.
