மொக்கையன்(மணிவண்ணன்) தனது மகன்களுடன் சேர்ந்து கிராமத்தினரிடமிருந்து நிலங்களை அபகரித்து ஏமாற்றிவிடுகிறார்.இதற்க்கு தீர்வு காண்பதற்கு சிவராமன்(விஜயகாந்த்) என்பவரை தேடி அலைகிறார்கள்.கிராமத்து நன்மைக்காக அயராது உழைத்த மெய்யப்பனின்(விஜயகுமார்) மகன்தான் சிவராமன்.கிராமத்தினரின் வேண்டுகோளுக்கு இணங்க ஊர் திரும்பும் சிவராமன்,மொக்கையன் குடும்பத்திற்கு பாடம் கற்பித்து அனைவரையும் காப்பாற்றுகிறார்.
