ಮಧ್ಯಮ ವರ್ಗದ ಹುಡುಗಿ ಸೌಂದರ್ಯ. ತನ್ನ ಕುಡುಕ ತಂದೆ, ತೀರಿಸಿ ಮುಗಿಸಲಾಗದ್ದಷ್ಟು ಸಾಲ, ಜತೆಗೆ ತಮ್ಮನನ್ನು ಚೆನ್ನಾಗಿ ಓದಿಸಬೇಕೆಂಬ ಜವಾಬ್ದಾರಿ ಇದೆಲ್ಲ ಕಾರಣಕ್ಕೆ ಬಟ್ಟೆ ಅಂಗಡಿಯೊಂದರಲ್ಲಿ ನಿಷ್ಟೆಯಿಂದ ಕೆಲಸ ಮಾಡುತ್ತಿದ್ದಾಳೆ. ಅಲ್ಲಿ ತನ್ನದಲ್ಲದ ತಪ್ಪಿಗೆ ಕೆಲಸ ಕಳೆದುಳ್ಳುವ ಪರಿಸ್ಥಿತಿ ಎದುರಾಗುತ್ತದೆ.  ಬದುಕಿಗಾಗಿ ಅಲೆಯುವ ಈ ಸಂದರ್ಭದಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರಬಲ ಮತ್ತು ದುಷ್ಟ ರಾಜಕಾಣಿಯಾದ ಸೂರ್ಯವರ್ಧನ್ನನ್ನು ಭೇಟಿಯಾದಾಗ ಅವಳ ಜೀವನ  ಅನಿರೀಕ್ಷಿತ ತಿರುವು ಪಡೆದುಕೊಳ್ಳುತ್ತದೆ. ಇವರಿಬ್ಬರ ನಡುವೆ ಇವರಿಗೇ ತಿಳಿಯದ ರಹಸ್ಯ ಹಿನ್ನೆಲೆಯಿದೆ, ಅದೇನು? ಅದರ ಪರಿಣಾಮವೇನು?  ಆ ರಹಸ್ಯ ತಿಳಿದು ಸೌಂದರ್ಯ ನೀಚ ಸೂರ್ಯವರ್ಧನನ್ನು ಮಟ್ಟಹಾಕುವಳೇ ಎಂಬ ಕುತೂಹಲದ ಪಯಣವೇ ʼನಾಯಕಿʼಯ ಕತೆಯಾಗಿದೆ.

The story revolves around Soundarya, a middle class girl who struggles to keep her life together while dealing with an alcoholic father and his debts. She is working as a sales representative and taking care of her brother too. Her life takes a twist where she gets to meet Suryavardhan, who is a powerful & evil politician.There is a hidden past to Soundarya & Suryavardhan. Will she able to get his evils to light?
