ജീവിതം പൂര്‍ണ്ണമായും ആഘോഷിക്കാനുള്ളതാണ് എന്ന കാഴ്ചപ്പാട് വച്ചുപുലര്‍ത്തുന്ന യുവാവാണ് ചാര്‍ലി. യാത്രകളെ ഇഷ്ടപ്പെടുന്ന  അയാള്‍ തന്‍റെ ചുറ്റുമുള്ളവര്‍ക്കും ആ സന്തോഷം പകര്‍ന്നു നല്‍കുന്നു. ചാര്‍ലി മുന്‍പ് താമസിച്ചിരുന്ന റൂമില്‍ പുതുതായി എത്തുന്ന ടെസ്സ എന്ന പെണ്‍കുട്ടി ചാര്‍ലിയുടെ സ്കെച്ബുക്ക് കണ്ടെത്തുന്നു. അപൂര്‍ണ്ണമായ ആ ബുക്കില്‍ അയാള്‍ ചിത്രീകരിച്ച സംഭവത്തിന്‍റെ ബാക്കി ഭാഗത്തെക്കുറിച്ച് അറിയാന്‍ ടെസ്സ യാത്ര തുടങ്ങുന്നു.  എന്നാല്‍ ആ യാത്ര ചാര്‍ലിയെയും ടെസ്സയെയും തമ്മില്‍ അടുപ്പിക്കുന്നു.
